Theodore Skrodzki

USAA

Theodore, who goes by TJ, began his insurance career in 2013 at USAA as a licensed insurance producer in the Tampa office. Since that time, he was moved to San Antonio and is now in underwriting, working on Umbrella Insurance. He received his bachelors in Business Management from the University of Alabama. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and exploring San Antonio’s unique culture and diverse food scene.

Juana S. Trotter

Juana S. Trotter is a seasoned Risk Professional with over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, including Insurance and Risk Management. She holds key roles leading critical risk initiatives for USAA's Top and Emerging Risks, USAA’s Work Effort and Risk Management, and previously held key roles within USAA's Risk Identification, Assessment, and Profile. Juana also has experience and expertise in USAA’s Insurance Operations, delivering best-in-class member customer service in Property and Casualty (Auto, Property, and Casualty) claims. Juana's key skills and expertise include risk governance and oversight, risk training and education, data governance and analytics, strategic risk management, business risk process improvement, cross-functional leadership and collaboration, insurance operations and claims management, and driving strategic diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging imperatives. 
In addition to her professional achievements, Juana is active in professional and community leadership, currently serving on the Alamo CPCU Society's Board of Directors as Vice President, the CPCU Society's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness Committee (IDEA) as a Committee Member, and prior service on Boards of nonprofits driving strategic imperatives for social change. Juana's Risk, Insurance, and Inclusion / Belonging certifications and professional designations include: Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Insurance Data and Analytics (AIDA), National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional (NDCCDP), Risk and insurance Management Society Fellow (RF), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Enterprise-Wide Risk Management (ARM-E), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Strategic Leadership in Insurance and Risk Management Certificate, Coaching and Mentoring Risk Management and Insurance Professionals Certificate, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Certificate.

Ross began his insurance career in 2013 and is currently an Arbitration Applicant at USAA. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University c/o 2012 and his MBA with Finance Concentration from University of Texas at San Antonio in 2017. He earned his CPCU designation in 2022. Outside of work, Ross serves as team lead for the AV Team at Grace Bible Church of La Vernia.

Tiffany Linnartz

USAA

Tiffany began her career at USAA in 2003 and currently works as an Insurance Professional serving members in our online Chat & Social Media space.  She received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University. Tiffany maintains her Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and earned her CPCU  (Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter) in 2021. Outside of work, Tiffany volunteers and fosters dogs with the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area.

Ashley Morales

Ashley has over 15 years of insurance experience and a passion for Commercial Insurance. She is currently a Small Business Insurance Underwriter at USAA. Ashley obtained a BA in Education from UTSA and holds both Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) professional designations. In her free time, Ashley enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her family.

Lauren Vasquez

USAA

Lauren Vasquez currently serves as a Director for the Alamo Chapter of the CPCU Society and has previously served in an acting Director capacity. In this role, she has developed a strong understanding of the Chapter's operations, strategic priorities, and the collaborative efforts of board members and volunteers dedicated to advancing the CPCU mission at the local level.

Professionally, Lauren is a Development Product Owner Senior at USAA, where she partners with business and technology leaders to deliver strategic, member focusedf solutions across the P&C portfolio. Her background spans underwriting, customer service, learning and development, and enterprise product delivery, providing her with a balanced perspective on governance, execution, risk awareness, and stakeholder engagement. This breadth of experience enables her to contribute effectively to board discussions, support sound decision-making, and help ensure continuity of Chapter initiatives. 

As a Director, Lauren emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and alignment with organizational priorities, while upholding the CPCU Society's core values of professionalism, ethics, and lifelong learning. She is particularly passionate about member engagement, professional education, and strengthening the Chapter's presence within the local insurance and risk management community. 

In addition to her service with the CPCU Society, Lauren holds volunteer leadership roles including Communications Chair for EIG Elevate in San Antonio and participates in multiple volunteer initiatives at USAA. These roles have reinforced the importance of effective governance, inclusive engagement, and purposeful programming in attracting and retaining members. 

Lauren is honored to continue serving the Alamo Chapter CPCU Society and remains committed to supporting the Board's strategic objectives and contributing to the long-term success of the Chapter and the CPCU community.

Ruth Ann Peterson

USAA

As a Lead Business Process Owner in USAA’s Product Transformation and Modernization Organization, Ruth is responsible for writing new product contracts for Personal Lines. Her 37-year career in the P&C industry has been entirely with USAA, starting in 1989 as a member service representative. Her diverse experience includes front-line and staff underwriting for various P&C lines of business, providing oversight for consumer reports, managing inspector vendors and the Insurance-to-Value program, and implementing new programs and platforms to improve member interaction. Ruth, an "Air Force brat," originally intended to use her Political Science degree (with a concentration in International Relations) to join the Foreign Service. Obtaining her CPCU in 2004, she has also had the opportunity to travel to Russia, Poland, and China for insurance-related engagements through her involvement with the CPCU Society.
